Objectives of the course program (competences):
The aim of the course is an introduction to the English language in the field of legal sciences and its appropriate professional application in communication, translation of texts, etc.
Content of the course program:
This course covers the basic professional terms in the field of legal sciences that are used in the everyday practice of law. The main thing is to study the vocabulary used in the legal systems of Anglo-Saxon countries and make comparisons with the Macedonian legal system in order to find the appropriate terminology for the corresponding legal institutes. It also works on communication skills when using professional English in law in certain situations and correspondence. All grammatical units are covered, supplemented by written and oral exercises. The vocabulary content - English in law is supplemented with activities, discussions and case studies from the given field.
